The projects Defender supports mainly concern health care, education and care for the elderly.
We are a South African non-profit to provides support to and organises South Africans who live abroad and want to give back to their homeland.

We believe in the marta ‘South Africans for South Africa’. Many of our fellow citizens now live in other parts of the world. Defender unites them and connects them to supportive projects in the homeland
MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Defender does not believe that you need to be wealthy or have influence to make a difference. By unity we create impact. If we bring many together, we can make a difference
Defender believes that organising ways to provide direct support combined with a platform for those who want to contibute to many different organisations in need is the best way to erradicate poverty and improve the nation of South Africa.
Direct support is established by connecting individuals directly to organisations they can support. If our members do not wish to directly intervene they can also donate to the Defender fund, which groups contributions of many people and spreads them evenly over different projects.

A group of dedicated South africans
We started our non-profit in 2019 with the idea to bring South Africans living abroad together. At first, it was merely to exchange memories and tales about the homeland. Soon we realised that many well off South Africans living abroad were very eager to support the South African nation, but there was no organised way available to them. To facilitate this process we started Defender.
Defender now groups many South Africans with the sole purpose to support them in giving back to their homeland. All of our members have the goal to provide services to those in need in the homeland. Our organisation organises the contact between individuals willing to give back and organisation in need of support in South Africa.
